About
Dr. Tabrez Ahmad has a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Aligarh Muslim University.
Subsequently he has also completed Bachelor’s Degree in law, Masters degree in Commercial Law & Cyberlaw.
Following this, Dr. Ahmad has also completed his Ph.D. in IPR & Cyber Law from the same university.
Prior to joining Alliance University he was the Professor of IPR & Cyberlaw, School of Law, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India.
Dr. Tabrez Ahmad has joined the College of Law, Alliance University as Programme Director on 17th January, 2012.
In the KIIT University he was the Academic Coordinator School of Law & Head Department of Private Laws. He was also mentor IPR KIIT-Technology Business Incubator, National Science Technology Incubation Board (NSTEDB) & Dept of Science Technology Govt. of India.
He is the visiting faculty of Cyberlaw & IPR in the Biju Pattanaik State Police Academy Bhubaneswar, Orissa Judicial Academy & State Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development (SIPARD) Govt. of Tripura.
He is also the trainer under the Bureau of Police Research & Development Govt. of India (BPRD) for developing the special investigators of White Collar Crimes & Cybercrimes.
Prior to KIIT University, Dr. Tabrez was the Founder Director, Durgapur Institute of Legal Studies(DILS), University of Burdwan, West Bengal.
He was the founding faculty, W.B. National University of juridical Scinces Kolkata.
Dr. Tabrez in an eminent researcher, he has authored a pioneering book entitled "Cyber Law, E-commerce and M-commerce",
He has published more than 30 papers in national and international journals and participated in around 40 national/international seminars and conferences.
He is the member of various national and international associations including, Indian Law Institute, World Internet Society Switzerland, All India Law Teachers Congress and Indian Society of Victimolog, Indian Science Congress etc.
He is also on the editorial board and reviewer/refree of various national & International journals including, JIPR ( Journal of Intellectual Property Rights), and JPL (Journal of Politics and Law)Canadian Center of Science and Education.
In his spare time , Dr. Ahmad loves to write blogs. His few blogs like TechnolexIndia, IPLexIndia and ConferenceLex are very famous and have around two thosand subcribers througout the world.He also likes to cook food and travel exotic locations.
